Executive Director of the Open Forum Foundation
Washington D.C. Metro Area
I am establishing the nonprofit Open Forum Foundation to focus on building tools to simplify the relationship between governments and their people. I believe this organization will make a significant, global impact on the development of democracy and transparency in government, reform of the international system, and improved ease of use and accessibility of emerging technologies. Check it out at http://openforumfoundation.org and let me know what you think.
I have over ten years of experience in management and entrepreneurial activities in both the private and non-profit sectors, and recently received my Master's of Science in Global Affairs with a concentration in international relations from New York University. I am fascinated by people and the way we relate to one another, as well as being an acknowledged technophile with a deep understanding a

nd long history of working with computers and their progeny. While my long-term goals are admittedly idealistic, I work with great pragmatism, and have the rare ability to learn from and correct my course of action in the middle of a project.
As I peer into my future, I see it revolving around the relationship paradigms that define our world. Today, organizations and individuals are struggling to make sense of the changes that surround us everyday, including the continuously increasing ease of global communications and the evolving expectations of customers, constituents, and peers.
I believe that with proper guidance and a good bit of luck, the paradigm shifts that we are experiencing will result in a more equitable and stable world. Supporting the viability of this perspective is the fact that globalization increasingly makes this goal a national security priority for developed countries, and not just an idealist's view of the future.
Unique skills:
-long term perspective
-comprehension of complex issues
-collaborative management
-technology and new media
-personal relations
